Every year in the UK, more than 8,000 people learn that they have kidney cancer. The incidence of kidney cancer is slowly increasing in the UK, and yet the condition - the seventh most common type of cancer among men and ninth among women - rarely attracts much public attention. Our mission at the James Whale Fund is to try and change that by:
- Helping to reduce the incidence of kidney cancer by increasing knowledge and awareness, and by supporting research into the causes, prevention and treatment of the disease
- Providing a support network offering advice, information and encouragement to those who’ve been diagnosed with kidney cancer and their carers
But we can’t achieve these goals without you!!
As you can see from the chart below The James Whale Fund for Kidney Cancer is dedicated to ensuring that the money it receives is distributed and used for the benefit of the patient and raising awareness.
